Green Cafe: New US Embassy Compound – Bucharest | |||||||||

RoGBC together with the US Embassy invites you to have an interactive discussion regarding the new Embassy facility in Bucharest. The case study will be presented by Jorge Vazquez (US Embassy), Constantinos Kolonias (AICIsp – Contractor) and Beth Kempton (Technology Manager for the Department of State's Overseas Building Operations, Energy and Sustainability Division) who will answer all your related questions and will give you more details on the facilities. These facilities will rest in a 40,000 square meter lot at a commercial and residential mixed community in the northern part of the city, adjacent to beautiful Tunari Forest. The US Department of State required the constructors to certify the buildings through the strict guidelines of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. Who: Participants from all construction disciplines are invited. Seats are limited to 50 persons. If the event is sold out before you register your name will be added to a waiting list. Cost: This event is free (If you register but do not attend or cancel your registration later than two days prior the event, a 100 RON payment will be invoiced).
