Redirecting 2% of your income tax (income obtained in Romania) to Romania Green Building Council is the simplest way for any individual to support our organisation.

Steps to follow:

1. Fill in:

• Declaration 230, if the source of the revenue in 2017 was just a salary. Download from here the form
• Declaration 200, if you had other sources of revenue in 2017 (independent activities, rents) than a salary. Download from here the form
• Both declarations if you had revenue from a salary and other independent activities

The forms are pre-filled with RoGBC’s fiscal details. All you need to do is fill in your personal data and sign. The cell „Suma” doesn’t need to be filled in. The fiscal inspector will do that.

If you happen to have already filled in a form and need to add RoGBC’s details, these are:

2. 2. Send the declaration to the Fiscal Administration Unit coresponding to your home address or bring it to the registry of the Fiscal Administration Unit. The adresses of all Fiscal Administration can be found here.

The deadline for sending the declaration is 25 May 2018.

According to Article 8 of Law no. 32/1994 on sponsorship, Romanian natural or legal persons performing sponsorships benefit of reducing taxable equivalent sponsorship under the law. According to art. 21 para. 4 letter. p) of the Tax Code, taxpayers who make sponsorships according to Law no. 32/1994 regarding sponsorship, tax deducted from amounts due at the lowest listed below:

		3 ‰ of turnover;
		20% of tax due; Details of the tax code found here The procedure is simple: calculate the sum for the 20% tax on profits of the company and concluded a sponsorship contract with Romania Green Building Council organization. Expenses are deductible, so company costs are zero. Example: A company made profits of 100.000 lei State income tax due: 100,000 * 16/100 = 16.000 lei 20% of tax due: 16.000 * 20% = 3.200 lei (the deductible sponsorship) Sponsorship is fully tax deductible, if within the limits imposed by the tax code (not more than 3 ‰ of TO and 20% of tax).
