On June 28th, 2022, at 11 am, Green Community and Banking News publications will organize the Conference “Sustainable financing for sustainable Romania” at The Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection. The event will facilitate, in a selected and unique atmosphere, a captivating and stimulating debate about green lending in our country and about the role of banks in Romania's transition to the green economy. The conference will have two sessions, the moderator of the event being Bogdan Căpraru, Doctoral Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration within the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași and member of the Romanian Fiscal Council.

Starting from the idea that all of us, individually and together, can be initiators of change contributing to a sustainable future for Romania, the discussions within the event will focus on the plans and objectives that credit institutions have assumed in the field of sustainability. We will analyze together which green projects banks are willing to finance, which are the sectors of activity that can become spearheads in the transition process of the green economy, how familiar Romanians are with the idea of sustainable financing and these measures are needed to increase the share . green loans.
