| Energy Efficiency in Buildings. New European Requirements The reformatted European Directive on Energy Performance of Buildings 31/2010/EC requires that the Member States intensify their efforts for reducing energy consumptions in the building sector by adopting higher standards and action plans with ambitious targets. We invited you for a public and scientific debate on how Romania is ready to comply with the new European requirements. The Romania Green Building Council has been invited to present "The emergence of a Romanian market for Green Buildings". Cristina Siu provided information on the growing investor demand, availability of green building products, technology, and services, and important trends changing the local market.
