How do we efficiently manage construction waste?
Location : online
From: Wednesday 23 March 2022, 10:00
To: Wednesday 23 March 2022, 12:00

Green Report is organizing a new conference on waste management in the construction sector on Wednesday, March 23rd.

The event takes place between 10:00 and 12:00 and will be broadcast live both on the green-report.ro website and on the Facebook page of the publication. Construction waste management is an insufficiently clearly regulated area, which lacks logistics and recycling and reintroduction capabilities.

Romania's target for 2020 is to reach a level of reuse, recycling and other material recovery operations of at least 70% of the mass of non-hazardous waste quantities from construction and demolition activities.

According to the data published in the Waste Management Plan of Bucharest, for construction and demolition waste (DCD) there is no separate statistic of their generation, current sanitation operators do not report these quantities separately from the rest generated by the population.

In most cases, the disposal of construction and demolition waste is done on the site of municipal landfills.

The speakers of the events are:
 Cosmin Teodoru - General Manager of the Waste, Contaminated Sites and Hazardous Chemicals Directorate, MMAP
 Constantin Toma - Mayor of Buzau, Executive President, Association of Romanian Municipalities
 Andrei Dumitra - CEO, CTE Solutions
 Narcis Avram - CEO, Elis Reciclare Moloz
 Ciprian Șipoș - Zero Waste Creative Thinker, RoGBC
